FDG2020, the Sixth International conference on Functional Discourse Grammar, will be organized by the University of Amsterdam and will be held online from June 30 - July 2, 2020.

Objectives
The aim of FDG2020 is to further elaborate the model of Functional Discourse Grammar (FDG) as proposed by Kees Hengeveld and J. Lachlan Mackenzie. Full treatments of FDG may be found in: Hengeveld, Kees and Mackenzie, J. Lachlan. 2008. Functional Discourse Grammar: A typologically-based theory of language structure. The conference
The conference will be held online. The language of the conference will be English.

Organizing Committee
The members of the Organizing Committee are: Hongmei Fang, Kees Hengeveld (chair), Lois Kemp, and Marieke Olthof, all from the University of Amsterdam.

Programme Committee
The board of the Functional Grammar Foundation (FGF) has appointed a Programme Committee that consists of the following members: Inge Genee (University of Lethbridge), Kees Hengeveld (University of Amsterdam), and Hella Olbertz (Chair, Universidade de Santiago de Compostela/University of Amsterdam).
