The venue

FDG2026 will take place at the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad de Córdoba, Plaza Cardemal Salazar 3, 14071 Córdoba, Spain.

How to get there

Córdoba is easily accessible by high‑speed train (AVE) from major Spanish cities:

  • From Madrid: approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
  • From Málaga: approx. 50 minutes
  • From Seville: approx. 45 minutes

Both Málaga and Seville airports offer frequent connections to Córdoba through the national rail network (RENFE). We recommend booking your train tickets in advance.

Social events

A conference dinner and an excursion will be part of the conference programme.

As the Conference happens to take place during Córdoba’s Guitar Festival (https://www.turismodecordoba.org/1esp-festival-internacional-de-la-guitarra-de-cordoba), a very popular cultural event featuring free concerts in different corners of the historic city centre, we strongly encourage all participants to book their accommodation as early as possible.
